Ostendo integration with MYOB
Ostendo allows you to manage the operational activity of your business and adds value to your MYOB software. Ostendo integrates directly with :-
MYOB AccountRight Standard
MYOB AccountRight Plus
MYOB AccountRight Premier
MYOB AccountRight Enterprise
using the ODBC Driver or else Ostendo can be used as a stand-alone system. We map the Ostendo chart of accounts and tax codes with MYOB's chart of accounts and tax codes.
All the operational data is kept within Ostendo – customers, inventory, supplier catalogues, customer service assets. Journals of sales, operational transactions and banking are passed daily through to MYOB. Supplier invoices for inventory and jobs are entered into Ostendo and passed through to MYOB for subsequent payment.
The MYOB Accounting product is used for payment of suppliers, bank reconciliations, payroll, monthly accounts and tax reporting.
There are two buttons to be pressed for data to be transferred into MYOB :-
- In Ostendo we click on the button Process Batch Files. Data is sent to the Ostendo MYOB Link
- In Ostendo MYOB Link we click on the button Process and data is sent to the MYOB file through the ODBC link
This process needs to be done once a day and takes a few seconds.
Ostendo Operational Software integrates with these versions of MYOB using the MYOB Read Write ODBC Driver
